I doubt it would be the case but you never know, so judge it for yourselves, folks. Over the weekend, on Saturday, I went to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Link in Spanish) to spend the afternoon and part of the evening over there enjoying the lovely warm weather we had and this time I was lucky that it was such a fantastic weather because sometimes it can get a bit cloudy (the so called “Panza de Burro“) and it is not as spectacular as what it could well be.
Yes, I am talking about Las Canteras beach. An incredibly beautiful beach that runs along the city and that makes living in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria so much worth it. They have got a webcam setup so that you can see what it is like during the course of the day and the evening, but on Saturday I was lucky enough to take some pictures of that wonderful beach and I have already uploaded them into my Flickr account. Here you have got three of my favourites though, so that you can see how stunning it can get to be right in the city and next to you one of the best beaches from the whole island:
So can you imagine laying there on the beach for the whole afternoon listening to some great tunes with my soon-to-arrive iPod. Yes, indeed, it cannot get better than that, can’t it? That was one of the main reasons why resistance was futile this time around. And very soon I will be able to enjoy that a great deal ! 😉
